Evan Pence is 28 years old and has been working for Pence Building in one capacity or another for about three years.  Evan grew up and lived in Valley Center for about twenty two years.  He attended colleges in Santa Barbara, Fullerton, and San Marcos.  Cal State San Marcos was his last stop where he earned his bachelors degree in Economics.  After graduation Evan spent the next two years learning the carpentry trade.  He started as a laborer who "humped" wood for his superiors and ended two years later as the job site foreman.  From there Evan did short stints on a stucco crew, and on a drywall crew.  These hands on experiences were invaluable to Evan and helped give him perspective on how a job site is managed and run.  For the past several months Evan has been promoted to job site superintendent and has managed several projects for Pence Building.
